SQUID GAME: UNANSWERED QUESTIONS AND THEORIES

If you have not seen Squid Game yet, you're maybe living under a rock.

In this article, I will talk about the theories surrounding on how the show ends, the unanswered questions it left behind. And at the end I will talk about a prediction, that I believe, I only constructed in my simple mind. To those who have not watched yet, spoilers alert, leave this now.

First unanswered question, is why? Why, the same question Hwang Jun ho(played by Wi Ha Jun), asked his big brother, Hwang Jun Ho(played by Lee Byung Hun). Why is he the frontman? And why he also spare his brother? That is some questions? This is why believe their will be a season 2, the next question, is what will it be? A sequel or a prequel?

If it's a prequel, it will surely answer the question of why, Hwang In ho became the Front Man. As it was revealed, Hwang In Ho, is also a former contestant, that won the game. It will also revealed, who is Oh Il Nam, the host of the games. Player 001 to be exact. Many in the internet are saying, that he is Seong Gi Hun's(played by Lee Jung Jae) father. In which I agree, for he and Seong Gi Hun, are agreeing on that they have the same house. But I have a weird theory, that have just popped out just now, the moment I am writing this now. Are you ready to listen.

Oh Il Nam and Seong Gi Hun, are the same person. Seong Gi Hun, became extremely rich, in the future. But he has no family, so his life is miserable, but he is rich. He traveled to the past, and established this games. I will explained later, how he became corrupted that he made this insane games.

Another theory of mine is. In the beginning. Their are four children, playing against another four children. I believe, that the four children who are teammates, are Seong Gi Hun, Cho Sang Woo(played by Park Hae Soo), Hwang In Ho, and the suit man, who is played Gong Yoo. I don't think, that they will put Gong Yoo, Lee Jung Jae, Park Hae Soo, and Lee Byung Hun, in a series, and Lee Byung Hun, and Gong Yoo which are the bigger stars of the series, having a role of little screen time and importance. And their appearance, can't be considered a cameo. It's just not.

Now we will come back to the question, on why Hwang Jun Ho, was spared? My theory is the Front Man, want the organization to failed, by police intervention, or military by the South Korean Government.

One thing I also see coming, is a confrontation between Seong Gi Hun, and Hwang In Ho. He might be the Front Man this series, but I think in the next, he might be the new host. And their will be a confrontation.

But while the confrontation is about to happen, he knew that the stepfather of his daughter, ended up accumulating debts too, and became a participant as he is. He wanted to help but the stepfather was eliminated early, so as him, but not really. Hwang In Ho, handed him the keys to the games. It was the will of Oh Il Nam, to hand him the games.

Years passed, he discovered that many of the people, that ended up in the games, are assholes, even the ones that won are. Only few are good and well intended people. But most of them are weak. He was corrupted, and enjoy seeing them die.

Then her daughter, Gayeong joined the games. Because her stepdad fucked up, and accumulated a lot of debt. She survived it, until the marble games. But she was saved, because Seong Gi Hun, was now the game master. But the daughter can't accept what his father has become, and killed herself. It broke Seong Gi Hun. and had become sick.

Then he decide to come into the past. establishing the games. He recruited himself, in an intention to kill himself. But ended up winning, beginning the eternal cycle of depression. That's why he said, it's been a long time since he have fun. That is being my theory, that Oh Il Nam is Seong Gi Hun who time-traveled is right.

Whoever theories will be right, we will only know, if their is a season 2, and there should be a season 2. Cause there are some unanswered question. Some of it, I may have not even enumerated. They needed to be answered. That's my theory, and I hoped, I'm right.

IF ITS TRUE, THEN ITS NOT OKAY

I even made a joke about this incident, cause I never took it seriously at the beginning.

I dont know why Seo Ye Ji was blamed for Kim Jung Hyun avoiding skinship with Seo Ju Hyun(Seohyun of Girls Generation)...

Posted by Kenneth Ravida on Monday, April 12, 2021

But as time goes by, I think I have to say something. Not that it matter, but because it became a buzz among K-showbiz community. But first, here is the statement from Seo Yeji’s agency.

"Hello, this is Gold Medalist. This is our official position on the recent reports regarding actress Seo Ye Ji.

Firstly, we would like to apologize for the delay in sharing our official position.

As a result of our confirmation with Kim Jung Hyun, it was clearly confirmed by him the drama-related controversy was not caused by Seo Ye Ji, and he expressed his own intentions on sharing his official position. However, he said it would take time to share his own statement as there are many overlapping issues. Due to the continuous escalation of the controversy, we were told that it was okay to announce our position first, and make our position clear. Once again, we would like to apologize for the delay in expressing our opinion.

Also, we would like to apologize for the damage caused to the movie 'Recalled', the other actors, and reporters as our actress was not able to attend today's press conference and media preview.

Apart from Kim Jung Hyun's position, we would like to express our own position. It is hard to understand using common sense that the main actor of a drama can act without their own free will according to someone's wishes according to the controversial content released. It's practically impossible for an actor to perform and film without any free will.

It was not shown in the released conversations, but there was also a conversation between Kim Jung Hyun and Seo Ye Ji where he asked her not to film a kiss scene while she was working on a different drama. Seo Ye Ji also told him 'well then you don't do that either,' and the two exchanged conversations mixed with jealousy about skinship with others. This can be seen as a common love quarrel between an actor and actress who are in a relationship while also working in the same industry.

However, all actors and actresses can film normally, separating themselves from their love quarrels with their significant other. We believe Kim Jung Hyun must have had other personal circumstances as well.

Additionally, the part of the conversation that was publicized is a conversation between individuals that shouldn't have been disclosed. We think it caused a big misunderstanding because the conversation between two lovers was not kept private.

As a result, we deeply regret the fact that we have caused many people to feel concerned with Seo Ye Ji's immature feelings in her relationship."

Eventhough they are saying this, leaked conversations between Kim  Jung Hyun and Seo Ye Ji, says otherwise:

Seo: Mr. Kim Stiff. Get rid of all the skinship scenes.

Kim: Of course.

Seo: Why don’t you tell me what you did today?

Kim: I didn’t even say hello to the female staff today.

Kim: I told director Jang (‘Time’ director) that I won’t do romance.

Seo: lol good. Keep it up.

Kim: I saw the script for episode 9, and it needs revision.

Seo: Do a good job with revisions.

Kim: Only you can hold my hands.

Seo: Yes, be faithful. Good luck with the revision. Remember, no touching.

Kim: Of course.

Seo: No romance, no touching.

Kim: Seo Hyun’s filming now, so I’m talking to guys only.

Kim: I just asked the director to take out all the romance scenes. I was being quite reasonable.

Seo: I’m in a terrible mood now. Record what’s going on and send it to me.

Kim: [sends video]

Seo: This isn’t the filming site that you sent me before!

Kim: We are shooting now. I was in the studio set.

Kim: I keep reading the script. I don’t do anything else.

Seo : Correctly, without romance

Seo: You are happy because of me. So make me happier.

Kim: I’m going to read the script

Seo: Yes. Fix it well. Skinship romance no no

Kim: Sure

And this led to an apology letter, of Kim Jung Hyun, on April 14, 2021

Hello, this is Kim Jung Hyun.

Drama 'Time' was my first project to act as a male lead, so it had a special meaning to me. But I have deeply disappointed the director, the writer, the cast, and the staff. I apologize.

I have fragmented memories of the press conference for 'Time'. Back then I acted like a person even I wouldn't approve of. I am deeply regretful of my past actions.

I have chosen to let my personal life interfere with my professional life. I did not take my accountability as an actor or a leading character. I apologize without any excuse. The entire process of me departing 'Time' in the middle of the series and my actions at the press conference were wrong. I sincerely apologize to all the staff who had to go through rough times and to actress Seohyun who was hurt, all because of my actions.

I believe I should personally apologize to them, to everyone who I have inflicted harm on, even if it takes time. I am morally sorry to my label O& Entertainment, and Culture Depot whose name came up dishonorably. And I am sincerely sorry to my fans who have been supporting and waiting for me.

I also beg everyone who was concerned for forgiveness. I had time to reflect upon my blunder and wrongful action while writing this letter. If I get another chance, I would not take everything for granted and become an actor who takes care of himself both mentally and physically.

I am sorry.

My opinion is this. If this is proven to be true, as her drama that was famous, which I will I half quoting the title, it is not okay. Even if the somehow girlfriend, is a spoiled brat, daughter of a millionaire, ordering his actor boyfriend to do that, is still unacceptable. Much more if you are in the same industry. Forbidding skinship? You’re both actors, for Pete’s sake!

And how far would the skinship be? It’s a drama, not a movie. As if romantic erotic scenes, would happen. Seo Ye Ji should be more understanding, and considerate to Kim Jung Hyun, and his colleagues.

And Kim Jung Hyun too. Is he head over heels to Seo Ye Ji, that he will be a slave to all of her commands? He must have known, that there will be repercussions, for being like that . He is suffering from it, right now.

What I also don’t understand, they know that K-netz.are crazy. They crucified celebrities, for things that are non issue. And if this is true, for its non conclusive for me right now. The K-netz will not forgive them, and it will ruin their career. Why do such stupid things?

They might excuse themselves that they did this for love. Bullshit! Many couples, do more steamy scenes, with their colleagues. And their parthers get jealous, don’t be mistaken. But it’s the first time, that someone commanded to avoid skinship, on an ongoing project. If you don’t want skinship, get out of showbiz. And to Seo Yeji too, its unfair to command him that. You have a lot of skinship in your latest drama, and Kim Jung Hyun can’t do it? As I said get out of showbiz if you don’t want that. But I think the money is not that lucrative, outside of it.

And you just don’t do that, to a Girls Generation member. Seohyun, is the one most admired among the members. The most upright, the well behaved. And you do it to her? A member of girl group, once dubbed as the Nation’s Girl Group. It’s waging war, against SONE. That’s all for today

FIRST COUPLE REVEAL OF 2021

Its somehow became a tradition by Dispatch, a paparazzi company in South Korea, to reveal dating celebrity couples who are secretly dating by the New Year. Backing it with pictures taken, when the couples are dating. Somehow by the end of the year 2020, they hinted two couples. One are idols of the same agency, which is not yet revealed, by the time this is written. And the other was an actor/actress couple, in which turn out be, Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin.

This will be a short one. I am happy for them, and still surprised that it was them. But looking back, they follow a pattern, that might hinted Dispatch, to follow and watch them closely. Most actor couple s that have been revealed in the past, had work together, in one, two, or three consecutive projects, whether it is an ad, drama or movie. Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin, worked in two consecutive projects, one is in the movie, The Negotiation, and the famous drama, Crash Landing On You.

Although both of them are in their late 30’s, and not getting any younger. I won’t advice them, if they were to listen to me though, to rush themselves into marriage. Eventhough we don’t, or I don’t really know, exactly how long they have been really dating. If it’s on the projects where they’ve met, it’s still not that long. I would advice them, to enjoy their love of each other. Then marry when they feel its right to do so. I am against them rushing into marriage, because of that other couple, that had dated after their drama, married and had a grand wedding, and still ended in divorce. Although everyone knows who they are, I ought not to mention them here, cause I think it’s inappropriate.

If the problem is bodily constitution, especially of Son Ye Jin, in building a family for them, science can compensate. There is this surrogate pregnancy, the child would still be of Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin, but Son Ye Jin, wont carry the child in her womb, but another woman. And I think, both of them can afford it. Wow, they are just dating, and I’m already thinking about them having a family. All I am saying is, that they shouldn’t if they plan so, rush themselves into marriage

And the message of Son Ye Jin to both fans and Hyun Bin is really heartwarming

“I'm thankful to have been able to meet a good person, and I'll work hard to tend [the relationship] with care. The love and support that all of you give me, I'm always keeping it in my heart. I hope there will be many good things in the new year. Be healthy.”

Now we will be waiting for the other couple. But if we could let them be, let them be. Eventhough they are celebrities, they still have the right to privacy. Anyway, congratulations to the new couple, and have a blessed new year.

NOTHING LAST: THE SONG-SONG DIVORCE

First, I will quote a conversation of Tyrion and Varys, in the first episode of the final season of Game of Thrones, Winterfell.

Tyrion: Our Queen respects the wisdom of age

Varys: Of course she does. Respect, is how the young keeps us at a distance, so we don’t remind them of an unpleasant truth.

Tyrion: What is that?

Varys: Nothing last.

And it didn’t last. Just this Saturday, June 29, 2019, it was reported that Song Joong Ki filed for divorce against Song Hye Kyo, which is somehow weird for me, in many aspect. Why is it Song Joong Ki that filed it, and not Song Hye Kyo? For usually, the one who has endured the problem, was always the one who filed for it. And usually, in relationships, most of the time, men are always the problem. So, why is it Song Joong Ki? Was Song Hye Kyo the problem? I don’t know, and we may never know. Further developments will surface about this story, so I will wait for it.

What I don’t like about it, is the blame game that happens, that implicates people, that we are not sure of involvement. Even the dead.

First was Kim Joo Hyuk, who is already dead. He died a day before the couple wedded, so Song Joong Ki, goes to the funeral after their wedding ceremony.  Some said it was bad luck, that he goes to his friend’s funeral. First of all, stop with your unfounded superstitious beliefs! It’s not because of that. Kim Joo Hyuk, did not chose to die that day, and Song Joong Ki was just being a good friend, or a colleague. I find that comment, very disgusting.

Second was Park Bo Gum, being the third party that cause the split. Although we can’t deny the chemistry they have on the drama Encounter or Namja Chingu/Boyfriend, I don’t think that Park Bo Gum will jeopardize his blossoming career, by being involved in an affair with Song Hye Kyo. And he and Song Joong Ki are friends, and I also don’t think he will betrayed him over her.

And when could be a better timing for this happen, as GMA Network was just about to launch the remake of Descendants of the Sun. In which was criticized, for the actors in the Philippines that will go for the role, that the former Song-Song had in the original, are thought to be not worthy of the role by the fans, of the original drama. One is not that famous, the other was a famous actor, but an actor who people was fed up, because he always stars on drama that the network ever produce for years. It’s not his entire fault, it’s because GMA lack talents compared to it’s rival ABS-CBN. This is because of the exclusive contract nonsense, that GMA started with the late German Moreno. But because there was a news, that the network are losing profits, and might go under. Many talents jumped fence, and now they lack actors, and lose one for work safety negligence. I don’t know how the Song-Song couple split might affect the remake, for they are connected in a way. But as they say, bad publicity is still publicity.

There are claims that the cause of the split was, as the reports said, and I quote, difference in personality. Which someone pointed out, commenting to the news, you are two different individuals, of course you have difference in personality. It’s a lame, standard excuse, everytime there is a divorce in Korea, just like in dating break-ups, with the excuse of because of their busy schedules. They have deeper reasons for doing it, that they don’t want to disclose to the public. Because, if you really love each other, difference in personality can be overcome, busy schedules can be overcome. So, it’s a lame standard excuse, to cover up the real reason, that they don’t want us to know, and we don’t have any right to dig.

Although many was shocked that the former Song-Song couple divorced. I have somewhat saw it coming. Superstar marriages, most of the time fails. Both of them are still high value actors/celebrities, who everyone seeks for new dramas, movies, product endorsements, etc. Song Joong Ki is on a Netflix series, Arthdal Chronicles, and Song Hye Kyo was on Encounter, a tvN Drama. What I am saying is, maybe both of them still can’t give up, or at least rest for a while their careers. There are other superstar marriage that had happen in Korea, Kim Tae Hee and Rain, but Kim Tae Hee, rest for a while to have a baby. And she and Rain are still married. For a superstar marriage to work out, one has to give up, and rest for a while their career for their marriage. The other thing for a superstar marriage to succeed is, one is a superstar, and the other is a private individual or a not that famous celebrity.

Although I expected it, I had hope that they last until the end of their lives. But the fairytale is now over. Who is at fault? We may not know. But it is not because Song Joong Ki goes to the funeral of Kim Joo Hyuk after their wedding ceremony, nor it was Park Bo Gum. Park Bo Gum even attended the wedding ceremony, I don’t think he will ruin them for Song Hye Kyo. If we were to blame anybody, narrow it down to the two persons involved, Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki. But as I said earlier,  usually the one who sought the divorce, is the one who endure the problem. Song Joong Ki, is the one who sought the divorce. Maybe Song Hye Kyo really is the problem. Although in relationships, it takes two to tango, so as in break-ups. We still don’t know many things surrounding this divorce. Let’s wait and see what happens.

WHAT FILIPINO DRAMA WRITERS SHOULD LEARN FROM K-DRAMAS

If we will all just be honest. All of us are now fed up, with the Ang Probinsyano shitshow. It has gone for far too long already. First they we’re outlaws, now they are policemen again. Will they become outlaws again? I don’t know. Will they become zombies? Maybe. Because the show has no story, and keeps on developing from time to time. I’m sick of it really, that I don’t watch it anymore. Not only Probinsyano, but most Filipino Drama are not that watchable anymore. All of the stories are the same, and its endings, and they are all too long. And because of it, I favor K-Dramas.

I’m favoring K-Dramas, not because they are from Korea. No that’s not right, I am favoring K-Dramas because they are from Korea, and because many of the Korean actresses that I saw are beautiful. Some might say, they are the product of cosmetic surgery, I don’t care. They are still that damn beautiful and pretty in my eyes, and that’s what is important.

Yes, I’m favoring K-Drama’s because of their pretty ladies. Maybe some of my girl counterparts, like it as well because of their pretty men. But that’s not my only reason. We also have pretty ladies, and pretty men here. The problem with our drama’s lies with the structure. What should we learn, writers and producers? If we want to learn from them, and not retain the shit system that is at work. Let’s enumerate somethings that we might learn.

1 . Keep it short

The longest K-Drama that I know, but had not watched, has some 180 episodes on it. Some may have reached 200. But none that I know, has reached a thousand episodes like Ang Probinsyano. Some might say, One Piece, an anime, has reached a thousand episodes, and has been there for a number of years. We’ll get to that later.

The longest K-Drama that I watched was the series, The Great Queen Seon Deok, having 62 episodes in total. The next longest is Dong Yi, having 60 episodes, and Six Flying Dragons, having 50 episodes. They are considered long now, that networks and cable channels in Korea, don’t produced many drama’s of that length anymore.

A drama in there is already long now, if it had reach the length of 24 episodes. Why shortened a drama? So that stories may not get complicated, and actor’s schedules don’t overlap, and move on easily to other projects. Making more people, more happy.

Just look back at the time, when dramas are not really ending in our country. Protagonist and antagonist died, for various reasons, and they pulled the plug on the drama because of it. Some got terminal disease, while on the drama, but not necessarily because of it. But can’t get out of the drama, because the script is saying that she will stay long. Good thing, that they let the actress rest. But the bad thing is, the script has become to flexible, to extend the story for too long.

The longer we extend a drama, the more the story becomes astray, and complicated. The shorter it is the better.

2 . Different Dramas Everynight or Everyday

Ang Probinsyano has been there for too long, and the another bad thing with it is, we’ll have to deal with it, five times a week. In Korea, there are also what they called daily dramas. But they are mostly put in the morning, because their target audience moms who are at home. In primetime, they have different dramas. Aired once or twice for that week, then another week again. On that set-up, we’ll have variety of drama to watch, and people will not be fed up, with a certain drama. And many actors, will have work too, and have equal opportunity to be famous. Unlike here, Coco Martin, has only the best time-slot, and not letting go of it.

As I was saying, One Piece has reached a thousand episodes. But it was aired only once a week in Japan. While Probinsyano, we have to endured it on a daily basis

3 . Put Some Variety of Genres

I will applaud GMA, for trying to put variety of drama’s in the air. But in ABS-CBN, they don’t even try. They are serving the same old shit, with just different titles. A lot can be subject of a drama. Daily lives, of a certain profession, political, history, sci-fi, fantasy etc. Again, I will say I applaud GMA, in trying to to serve different kinds of drama. One of their most beautiful dramas are that Encantadia, not the remake, Mulawin, and Etheria.

And I don’t see a lot of historical dramas here in our country. Look at Quezon’s Game. It has gotten a lot of compliments, and critical acclaim. If they only put it on a drama, where most of us can watch it, many people may have gotten aware, that the man on the twenty peso bill, did a great feat for the world. Rescuing Jews, against the grip of the Nazi’s. We must put historical dramas more on TV, for people’s awareness of the historical figures of our country.

Dramas are not only limited to romance and action. Please try to write and serve us more genres of it.

4 . Don’t put current affairs issues

The news are bad already, and will not get better. Please don’t put it, as a theme of a drama. That is the bad that the Ang Probinsyano, has done in the past. There is a war in Marawi, there is also war on our tv screen, through that drama. Dramas are supposed to be entertaining, and an escaped of reality. We don’t need to see the countries problems again with the dramas. News are enough for that.

You might be saying, are Koreans not doing that? They are, and they have been criticized by their own audience for it. They are trying to shift, from only romance like before, to realistic portrayals of daily lives of a certain person. But unlike here, they have many dramas to chose from, for they have many channels who produced it, with collaboraton from independent production companies. Unlike here, we only have two, and one of them is always following the lead of the other.

5. Untypecast Actors

Here in our country, Piolo always play a Piolo like characters. Angel Locsin, always play an Angel Locsin like characters. And  I can named a list of actors here in our country, who are big names in the industry, who keeps playing the same role everytime. One example is the legendary king of Philippine Cinema, Fernando Poe Jr. He always plays the same role, in the hundred of the movies he had produced. In the acting industry, it is called typecasting. I don’t know who is at fault in our country, is it producers or the actors? Both of them, maybe at fault really.

In Korea, actors have a choice, because they audition for the role. Although, some are chosen by the producers. Actors have the choice to refuse, or to accept. Just like what I red from an article, ages ago, about an offer of a role to the actor Lee Dong Wook, who most of us now has seen, as the Grim Reaper from the drama, Goblin. He refuse a certain role, from a certain drama which is at the work at that time, for the reason that is also a fantasy genre like the Goblin, and he didn’t want to be typecast.

The proof of actors having a choice in Korea, Lee Jong Suk, who is known for being a cutesy flowerboy character in dramas, who can do serious acting too, but mostly played good guys in dramas. Suddenly plays a violent, sadistic, son of a North Korean official, who murders people, and rape girls to his liking. But I don’t think he fits the role, because only of his physical traits, being too white. Yoo Ah In, might have suit the role better.
Yoo Ah In, on the other hand, is known for playing guys who are crazy. From the movie Veteran, to the drama, Six Flying Dragons, he plays a crazy man. But he don’t limit himself to only doing that kind of roles. He has a more kinder role in the drama, Chicago Typewriter.
I can also do a list, of Korean actors that don’t want to be typecast. Like Lee Joon Gi, Kang Ha Neul, Hong Jong Hyun, Ji Soo, Nam Joo Hyuk. Wow, that’s basically the cast of Scarlet Heart Ryeo, only lacking IU. Even IU, don’t limit herself in playing cutesy roles. Just look at the drama, My Mister.

The point is, typecasting is bad for actors. It will not make them grow as actors. Actors, at least for me, should be chameleon-like in roles. We shouldn’t see your personality, but the character you are playing. Actors also should stood up, and I suddenly forgot the english word for it, manindigan, in choosing roles. Don’t just accept, and choose wisely. Roles can be out of trend too. And if you’re doing only a certain role, and then someday it has gone out of trend. That day might be the day, that you are done for as an actor.

6 . Endings

It’s always happy ending here in us. However great the conflict in the penultimate episode, it is always a happy ending. And it’s tiring for the watching public. In Korea, I will set an example, the most famous sageuk of Korea in the Philippines. So famous, that children and even dogs are named after him, Jumong. The summary was, only their love story though: Jumong and So Seo No found each other, and fell in love. But they marry different people, for various reasons. So Seo No’s husband died, and Jumong lost his wife. They got their chance again in love, and marry each other. Becoming the first king and queen of the kingdom of Goguryeo. But then the long lost wife came back, along with Jumong’s first born, true son. For So Seo No’s son’s was not of Jumong, but of her late husband. In the end, So Seo No, along with her entire clan and sons decided to get out of Goguryeo, and left Jumong. Was it a happy ending for their love story? Of course not, but it was satisfactory.

Of course there are happy endings too in K-Dramas. But they are not always happy ending. Main character die sometimes in their dramas too. Unlike here, no matter how unsurvivable the situation is, he or she is still alive in the end. All I’m saying is, there should be variety of endings, and not only one type of it.

7 . Plot Twist

Not many dramas in the Philippines have plot twist. Even if they have, they keep revealing it first, on TV Patrol and 24 Oras. I can’t remember having a shock, like the shock that I had experience when they reveal how Hodor, became Hodor. You might say, we are talking about K-Dramas and Philippine Dramas, why talk about Game of Thrones, Season 6 Episode 5 the Door? Pakialam mo! Blog ko to, magbasa ka sa iba. Season 6, is the last good season of Game of Thrones. The last two are shits. If you want a K-Drama example, I will give you one, The character of Choi Dam Dong, in While You Were Sleeping. Who would have thought that he was the police from the prosecutors childhood, one of the main characters? No one, until the reveal in the penultimate episode. I want those kind of plot twists on our dramas, but I don’t think I can see one, even in the near future.

As I said. The dramas in our country, didn’t have that many plot twist, that surprises the audience. They should try to put some, that are well written too.

Those are some of  the points that I have gathered for now. There could be more, and there could be a part two of this writing of mine. I don’t want to claim it is an article, for it might not passed as being an article. They are better, not because they are Koreans, and we are Filipinos. That’s not the point of this comparison. They are better, because they structurized their work. If we also could do that, we could be much better, or far better.
