THE KWANG SOO QUESTION

Although we will see him until June, the time of his departure on the show is nigh. His final recording is just days ahead. May 24. I assume that because we will see him until June, because of that live show on Youtube, which was only broadcast last week. And that live show, happened a long time ago. Maybe they had a buffer of episodes to show, and that means, we will still see Kwang Soo for a few last episodes, after May. Maybe we will stop seeing him in Running Man on late June, or early July.

Now there is talks, that his slot will be filled by a new member. I somehow agree with it, and it doesn't mean replacing Lee Kwang Soo. He will be forever a family for the production, for the members, and for us viewers. He will be on the pantheon, of Running Man members, former and active. He will not be forgotten.

If they will not fill Lee Kwang Soo's slot. The inevitable thing is, the show will end. And that will have a bad psychological effect on Lee Kwang Soo. He may thought of it like, I left the show and the show ends. And I don't want the show to end. And I believe, SBS doesn't want the show to end. Philippines recently bought the rights of the format to show Running Man, through GMA. What does that mean? If the show ends, they can't sell Running Man anymore. It's both profitable in Korea still, and internationally.

Although there is denial, that they will fill Lee Kwang Soo's slot. Because of the two factors, that I laid. I think they will do. And again, I am in agreement. And now names have popped up.

I have just read the article, that Kang Hanna, and Kim Ji Suk, are rumored to fill the slot. Both have been a guest in the past. But Hanna have more appearances than him. And among the two, because of her former appearances, I like Hanna to have the slot.

Many fans though preferred Lee Sang Yeob, because of his being like Lee Kwang Soo, character wise in Running Man. He is funny too, and somewhat gullible, as a character though in TV, not in person.

But I have two candidates, that are not very popular, and maybe not practical nor conventional. Here they are:

Kang Ho Dong. His somewhat introduction to the show, almost ended it years ago. But when he knew, that Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook was unfairly being kicked out, he backed out of it. But what if not of that deal happened? Would he have been accepted back then? No one would know. And people in Korea, had been longing for a Yoo Jae Suk and a Kang Ho Dong show, that they are together. The thing is there is a chance today, for that to happen.

The second is. Lee Sun Bin. She have also appeared on the show in the past. And she is also a strong woman, that can go toe to toe with Song Ji Hyo in strength. But she is also the girlfriend of Lee Kwang Soo. If she joins the show. somewhat, somehow, it's like that Lee Kwang Soo never left at all. Do you agree with me?

Although their are many names. One will only fill the void. And it might also be, not in the names in this article of mine.

THE 3 K-COUPLES THAT MIGHT GET MARRIED THIS YEAR

 

I am writing this February 11, 2021, only 3 days away from Valentines Day. Even though there is a still a pandemic going. There is talk about love, and how they will spent their day come February 14. Would they still go on dates, while observing social distancing? I don’t know. But these three couples, will sure have someone to spend with come Valentines Day, and maybe, for the rest of their lives.

Here are the three K-Celebrity couples, that I thought might get married this year. Although their are other reasons, the main reason I think why they are getting married, is because love is overflowing between the two of them.

HYUN BIN & SON YE JIN

Among the couple listed in here, they are the newest. Yet they are the oldest in terms of average age. I am not against these two getting married, but I am against them rushing it. Knowing what happened between Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, who dated shortly, got married, and then got divorced eventually. And for those who doesnt know, Song Hye Kyo, is one of the ex-girlfriends of Hyun Bin. I don’t know why I am mentioning it here.

But there is a saying in my country that, you can stop an overwhelming flood, but not an overwhelming love. Their are rumours, that Hyun Bin is preparing in secret for their wedding. But nothing is clear. Anyways best wishes, if they push through.

LEE KWANG SOO & LEE SUN BIN

These two said have started dating back when they met on Lee Kwang Soo’s show, Running Man. But, Lee Sun Bin, appeared twice on Running Man. One is the Running Man TV episode, the other is when Lee Sun Bin, appeared, with other female guest. But when the news of their dating leaked out, Jeon So Min claimed that she gave the number to the other. Its not clear whether it’s Kwang Soo’s or Sun Bin’s number that was given to the other.

Then Lee Sun Bin appeared on a certain talk show. The topic at the time was, about house. Then the host asked, but the translations varied, it’s between these two translations. One is, is there a tall person, you have to live with? The other was, is there a tall person you are living with? Although the questions, implicates different things, the answer of Lee Sun Bin was, there is. Kwang Soo is tall, so it’s definitely him. The only question is, what translation is correct. If it is the latter, Lee Sun Bin is now living-in with Kwang Soo. If its the first, she has plans to lived with Kwang Soo. It only means, that they will eventually be married. The question for now is when? Sooner or later?

JUNG KYUNG HO & CHOI SOO YOUNG

This couple is very private about their relationship, and rightfully so. Choi Soo young, always evade questions about her boyfriend, fearing that the conversations might go the wrong way. Jung Kyung ho, on an interview said, that Soo Young changed her fashion, and eating habits. But they are not very talkative on each other to the media.

Although they are that. Dispatch provide some insights, on how sweet they are to each other. One is when they were caught shopping together. The other was the most recent, is when they were caught seeing each other, hugging, and signaling hearts when they depart. With the years they have dating, they are very ripe to get married.

Congratulations on these couples, on having someone on their side. Especially this times. And congratulations on their weddings and marriages in advance. That is if they will do it these year.

RUNNING MAN RUNNING PROBLEM

Ang pinakamalaking isyu nga ngayon ng bansa ay ang biglaang pagkambyo ng desisyon ni Mayor Rodrigo Duterte sa pagsabak sa halalan sa pagka-Pangulo ng bansa . Pero hindi nga iyon ang tatalakayin ko sa aking post ngayon. Ito nga ay ang programa sa bansang South Korea na nagngangalang Running Man

Ang Running Man nga ay isang variety show sa South Korea, na bahagi ng Good Sunday line-up ng SBS network. Isa rin nga ito sa pinakamatagal nang programa sa timeslot na iyon. May 5 years na nga sila sa ere and counting pa. Binubuo nga ito ng mga kakaibang cast. Si Yoo Jae-suk ang main host at leader ng RM. Si Kim Jong-kook, ang pinakamalakas, Si Gary, ang rapper at ang dark horse ng grupo. Si Song Ji-hyo, ang actress, ngunit itinuturing na ACE, Si Ji Suk-jin ang pinakamatanda at ang bale weakest sa grupo. Si HaHa ang minsan ay parang crazy makamit lang ang pagkapanalo. At si Lee Kwang-soo ang pinakabata, at ang traydor sa mga games.

Pero higit na nakilala ang Running Man sa kanilang original concept game. Ang nametag elimination. Ang lagi ngang pagkapanalo dito sa larong ito ang nagbigay kay Kim Jong-kook ng titulong Commander.

Bago lang nga ako na fan ng Running Man. Hindi ko lang exactly matandaan kung early 2015 ba, o late 2014. Nag-umpisa nga akong maging fan ng mapanood ko sa Youtube ang cut nang nag-guest si Han Hyo-joo. Ito nga ay yung pinatid siya ni HaHa sa kanilang laro sa paunahang makuha yung labanos. Nanalo nga si HaHa dahil ginamitan niya ng matinding pwersa si Han Hyo-joo sa kabila ng isa itong babae. Sa inis nga ni Han Hyo-joo ay sinigaw niya ang salitang AREUMDAPTA. Na ang ibig sabihin ay Beautiful in a sarcastic way. Doon nga nag-umpisa ang lahat, at buhat noon ay na hook na ako sa programa. Now I'm watching both the old and the recent episode of Running Man.

Pero nakakasad ang nangyayari ngayon sa Running Man. Nito nga lang broadcast nila ng November 15, 2015, ay nagkamit sila ng rating na 5.4%. Pinakamababa nga nila sa buong history ng Running Man. At isa pang hindi ko ma gets ay kung bakit nangunguna naman ang 2 Days and 1 Night. Nagtry akong manood pero I got bored. Hindi ko talaga maintindihan. Although Running Man have some boring episodes also. Isa nga doon ay ang episode na nagkamit ng pinakamababang rating sa RM. Ang I think I know whats the problem with the recent episodes of RM

Una nga dito ay ang mga nauunang programa sa Running Man. Domino effect lagi yan pag mababa ang nauna mahahatak pababa ang kasunod. Sinilip ko nga ang mga ratings kung saan kabilang ang RM at wala masyadong SBS na programa na makikita ka sa Top 10, at ang Running Man din ay wala sa Top 10. Isa pang problema ay ang mga bagong PD. I think they are trying to create a new Running Man. Diverting away from the traditional Running Man. Which is bad. Concept change is good, but abrupt concept change is bad. Di ba sila natuto sa nangyari sa Invincible Youth Season 2. Tatlong beses sila nagkaroon ng concept changes at hindi nga sila nagtagal sa ere. Ang isa pa ay too much games little comedy time. Hindi nga tulad ng mga dating episode, na nabibigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga members na makapagpatawa. Dapat nilang alalahanin na ang Running Man is more variety show than a game show.

At bilang fan nga ay nakaisip ng ilang maaring solusyon sa problema sa pagbaba ng ratings ng Running Man. Ito nga ang ilan:

Firstly. Kahit ano pa ang games na mauna, mapa may kinalaman sa food, mystery etc. Hindi dapat mawala ang nametag elimination sa isang episode. Diyan nga nakilala ang Running Man. Maging ilang guest ay gustong mag-guest sa Running Man para lang ma-experience ang matanggalan si Jong-kook o isa sa mga members. O di naman kaya ay makipagbuno sa isa sa mga members maprotektahan lang ang kanilang nametag. Recently nga ang mga episodes maliban sa 100 vs 100 ay walang nametag elimination. Marahil ay nadidismaya dito ang SK viewers dahil sa tingin ko ay ito ang inaabangan nila. Sa nametag elimination nga lumilitaw ang character nila Jong-kook as Commander, Jae-suk as Yoomes Bond, Yooruce Willis, and the treacherous character of Lee Kwang-soo. Upang hindi naman magsawa ang tao ay magkaroon ng isang episode break ng nametag episode tapos balik ulit.

Secondly. Maraming guest man o kaunti. Ang dapat lang relatable ang mga guest. In short ay mga in the know guest. Kung hindi man sikat na sikat ay yung nakakatawa naman dapat. As long as their relevant to the news. Not yung mga guest na never heard of. Kasi humahatak yun ng viewers yung mga fans noon manonood dahil nandoon ang mga idol nila. Preferably mga idols gaya ng SNSD(Girls Generation) etc. Or kung hindi man ay mga guest na may kalibre nila Choi Min-soo, Noh Sa Yeon at Kim Sooro. Mga ganoong klaseng guest. Yun nga marahil ang dahilan kung bakit bagsak ang ratings noong Nov 15. A bunch of unknowns ang guest nila. Plus too much dead air.

Lastly. If there is an opportunity mention her, or better yet, if there is an opportunity guest her. A month long guesting. Surely if they do that. The ratings will skyrocket.
