LOLONG DEAD

The World's Largest Crocodile in captivity, Lolong, died on Sunday, February 10, 2013, 8:12 pm according to information on Yahoo.
Sinasabi rin nga sa information sa Yahoo, and I quote:
"The reason for the keepers' call to Collantes has not been given, nor has Lolong's cause of death been determined."

  2. When I heard about this news I really felt bad, Lolong might have killed someone but he is a Philippine pride! Lolong made it to the international scene. Lolong just to mention is an original settler in Agusan marsh, way before people started overtaking the place.

  5. it's sad I didnt get too see Lolong before his demise..
I'm not a fan of promoting caged animals..
And perhaps, maybe if he was allowed to roam free as his nature.
He could have lived longer than what was known.
RIP Lolong, you've done your share in promoting Tourism in Agusan.

  7. Kawawang Lolong.

  9. I've heard this over TV reports. So sad 'coz we haven't seen him yet. I was just thinking if the captivity has shorten his lifespan? Would he lived longer if he remains in the wild?

  10. Too bad.

  13. Yeah, it was really sad, I think it's because of the stress level. Stress level in a sense na inalis sya sa natural habitat nya, halos dun na sya lumaki, tas biglang change of environment. And of course a lot of other factors.

  16. IT might be the age or the weather. Nonetheless, a big loss in terms of Tourism.
