STAYING NEUTRAL

 

All of you may have known what have happened already on Israel and Gaza. It has start on an altercation on Jerusalem, that has blown out of proportion. That both sides has fire shots against each other.

The root of this conflict was from both World Wars. British and France, claimed the territories of the fallen Ottoman Empire. Palestine, was given to the British. In which they declared through the Balfour Declaration, that Palestine was to be the home for the Jewish people. Then Hitler rise to power in the 1930's, making some Jewish communities to go out of Germany. You all know what happened to those who didn't and can't escape. Some of them lived, suffered, and survived, but around 6 million of them didn't survive, from all over Nazi controlled territories.

The issue for me is this. Their are trending hashtags in social media, like #IStandWithIsrael, and #IStandWithPalestine. And some of it are from people, who are not even Israelite, nor Palestinian. Or even a Jewish and Muslim. Their are trends that you should not bandwagon. If you don't have a stake on this issue, don't join. If you're neither Israelite, nor Palestinian, don't go with the bandwagon. You will put yourself into trouble. 

I am saying this, because I am seeing some kababayans, especially on Tiktok. posting #IStandWithIsrael, but the person is in a Middle East Country.  It's not wise to do that. You might put yourself into trouble. You might say you're not in the Middle East, but still you're in a Muslim majority country, you might put yourself into trouble still.

And what is the vice versa. Their are two ethnicity who owned a lot of businesses in the world today. Its either a Chinese, or a Jew. Again you might put yourself into trouble.

Another thing is, both sides are hard to get behind. Let's say one provoke the other. It's still not right to fire those who aren't involved. And both sides did that. You see it on the news. Children are dying on both sides.

Let's hope that the hostilities cease as soon as possible. The pandemic is not yet over. And when we are destroying homes of our enemies. They can't stay home, and it will prolong this pandemic. We don't need this at the moment, or ever for that matter.

ANG PINAGMULAN

Patuloy nga ang kaguluhan ngayon sa Gaza strip, sa pagitan ng Hamas rebels, at mga Israeli forces. Marami na nga ang namamatay sa magkabilang panig. Ang kaguluhan ngang ito ay napakatagal na pinakamahaba sa kasaysayan na hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa natatapos. Mula pa nga sa Bible times hanggang sa kasalukuyan. Ngunit ano nga ba talaga ang pinag-ugatan niyan?

Iyan nga ay nagsimula buhat ng matalo ang Ottoman Empire sa British Empire noong 1918, kung saan ang dating nasasakupan ng Ottoman Empire ay nalipat sa kamay ng mga Briton, isa na nga dito ay ang Palestine.

Kung saan naman through the Balfour declaration ay dineklara ang Palestine as Jewish Homeland. Ngunit ano nga kinalaman ng Nazi Germany dito?

Alam naman natin lahat na si Adolf Hitler, is an anti-semitic, ibig sabihin anti-jewish, sa takot nga ng mga Hudyo ay nag-alisan sila sa Europa, may iba na nagtungo sa Amerika, ngunit ang karamihan ay nagtungo sa Palestine. Dumami nga sila ng dumami. At di nagtagal ay na domina nila ito. At hindi nagustuhan ng mga Arabo.

Buhat noon ay dumalas na ang kaguluhan. Lalo pa itong nagatungan sa pagkalikha ng State of Israel noong 1948. At noong 1973 sumiklab nga din ang Yom kippur war. Israel vs Egypt and Syria

Ang suma, ang kaguluhang ito ay ang dahil lang ay ang lupa at paniniwala, Ang tanong kailan kaya matatapos ito? Kailan kaya?
